Group Social Work To Enhance The Employ Ability Of Mild Physical Disability ——Take YX Institution In Shenyang City As An Example

Employment is the foundation of people’s livelihood,the policy of the country,to solve the problem of employment is an important measure to improve people’s livelihood.Due to their own physical defects,the disabled have always been in a weak position when participating in social activities,especially in terms of employment,the disabled face pain points and difficulties that are different from ordinary people,and it is difficult to enjoy fair and just treatment.Among the disabled people,there are many mild physical disabilities,who are more willing to work than other disabled people,so helping the disabled to solve employment problems and enhance their employ ability is conducive to enhancing the social integration of the disabled,realizing the personal value of the disabled,and sharing the fruits of social development.This paper mainly studies the employ ability of mild physical disabilities in YX institutions,and analyzes the employment status and low employ ability of mild physical disabilities according to the literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.The study found that the mild physical disabilities in YX institutions have employment problems such as low employment income,single employment channels,narrow employment categories,and lack of diversity in skills training.In view of these problems,the group work as a specific intervention method,under the guidance of the theory of empowerment,the theory of the hierarchy of needs,and the theory of social support,the qualified members were selected to form a group,and six group activities were designed and carried out.Through different forms of group activities,help YX institutions with mild physical disabilities to establish a correct view of employment,master basic employment skills,enhance employment confidence,and achieve the goal of improving their employ ability.Finally,the activities undertaken are evaluated and reflected,and relevant responses and recommendations are proposed from the individual,family,social and policy levels.After the end of the group activities,according to the results of the assessment,the intervention of the group work has achieved good results,and the employ ability of people with mild physical disabilities has been greatly improved.However,there are still some shortcomings in this study,in the intervention of group work,the professional quality level of staff needs to be further improved,the diversity of group activities needs to be further strengthened,and the scope of intervention needs to be expanded,and it needs to be continuously improved in future research.
