| Objective: To explore the influence of physical exercise participation,weekly exercise time and exercise motivation on the quality of life of the elderly,and to provide theoretical basis for the realization of active and healthy aging in China.Methods: In this paper,with reference to the 2018 China health and pension track(CHARLS)the latest data,study of people over 60 years old and different physical exercise influence on the quality of life,combined with relevant theoretical frameworks and the latest research results at home and abroad,using the questionnaire investigation,literature material method,statistical analysis method,etc.,from two directions of theoretical and empirical analysis,The physical exercise of the elderly was quantified into whether to participate in physical exercise,each exercise time and exercise motivation,and the quality of life was quantified into self-rated health index,mental health state and action ability,so as to carry out a comprehensive study on the relationship between physical exercise and the quality of life of the elderly.Results: Whether or not to participate in physical exercise has a significant positive impact on mental health of the elderly,a significant positive impact on mobility of the elderly has a significant positive impact on 10%,a significant negative impact on self-assessment of health index of 1%.Weekly physical exercise time has a significant positive effect on the mobility and mental state of the elderly by 1%.Physical exercise motivation has a significant positive impact on self-rated health index and mental health status of the elderly by 1%.Conclusion: Participation in physical exercise can have a positive impact on the activity ability and mental health of the elderly.Older adults who exercised between 60 and 120 minutes per week had better mental health and mobility than those who did not exercise at all or did not exercise sufficiently.High-intensity exercise is more effective than low-intensity exercise in improving physical function.Therefore,high-intensity exercise of more than 60 minutes per week or moderate-intensity exercise of more than 90 minutes per week had the greatest positive impact on the overall quality of life of the elderly.And the elderly who take the initiative to do physical exercise because of health needs will show better mental state and action performance than the individuals with other motivations.Therefore,weekly active participation and regular full physical exercise will be of great help to the improvement of the quality of life of the elderly,and will also bring a long-term impact on the realization of active aging in China. |
