| The rapid development of the Internet has changed the original traditional interpersonal communication mode,and more and more people choose to exchange information,establish rules and develop relationships in the virtual world,thus constructing a new virtual society.Compared with the exchange of information and goods in real life,the exchange content in the virtual world is represented by skills,virtual goods and virtual wealth.Both virtual goods and virtual social relations and other resources belong to the cultural capital and social capital in the virtual world of network.This is the basis for social bonding.In the virtual world composed of decentralized online games,the conversion form of cultural capital and social capital,the way of interaction accumulation and how to achieve mutual conversion of capital through network communication behavior are the important issues that this paper focuses on.This thesis is based on the theory of cultural capital and social capital.Mmorpg players are mainly studied.Based on the analysis of in-depth interview data of game participants,the forms and methods of the transformation of players’ cultural capital and social capital in the world of online games are studied from the perspective of players’ online interaction behavior.The physical,objective and institutional transformation form shown by cultural capital in online games and the social capital represented by trust,network,norms and reciprocity are the main manifestations of the transformation between the two capitals.In the communication practice of the transformation from cultural capital to social capital in the field of online games,It is represented by "groups with common game experience","expanding fan groups" and "mediating effect of cultural capital".The practice of transforming social capital into cultural capital is mainly based on trust,which is embodied in "transfer of goods with economic value" and "gender strategy".The mutual conversion of cultural capital and social capital in online games realizes the flow of capital in the virtual world,and melts the boundary between the online game world and real life.The interaction between the virtual world of online games and real life has been developed and improved.The rise of the Internet and the development not only make people’s social interaction to a certain extent,got rid of the limitation of time and space,but also in all aspects of social development extends the user’s social network,the network game players formation,accumulation and transformation of cultural capital and social capital,the behavior of the process,and they build social relationships break important practice of the theory of "harmful" game. |
