Research On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Orienteering Course Teaching In Universities In Shaanxi Province

Orienteering is an intelligent sports project integrating collective strength and intelligence.It has both physical and mental activities in the process of sports,and has the effect of exercising participants’ physical and intelligence.Therefore,orienteering teaching in colleges and universities can not only enhance students’ physique,promote the overall development of students’ physical and psychological health,but also cultivate students’ ability of teamwork and outdoor survival.Shaanxi province,as a big educational province,has more than 90 colleges and universities and superior natural conditions,laying a solid foundation for the development of orienteering.Therefore,in order to promote the popularization and development of orienteering courses in universities in Shaanxi Province and improve the teaching quality of orienteering courses in universities in Shaanxi Province,This article takes Xi’an Physical Education University,Shaanxi Normal University,Baoji University of Arts and Sciences,Xi’an Polytechnic University,Rocket Force University of Engineering,Haojing College of Shaanxi University of Fcience＆Tech,Xi’an Fan Yi University,Xijing University,Yangling Vocational＆ Technical College nine have directional movement course of universities as investigation object,through the literature material law,expert interview method,questionnaire survey research methods,such as,This paper conducts an in-depth study on the development and teaching status quo of orienteering courses in colleges and universities,further analyzes the shortcomings in the implementation and teaching process of orienteering courses in colleges and universities in Shaanxi Province,and puts forward relevant countermeasures to promote the development of orienteering courses based on the research results.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:1.Shaanxi Provincial University Student Orienteering Championship has been well developed and very innovative,and the competition items and competition venues are rich and novel.Colleges and universities with good orienteering courses have also achieved excellent results in the Shaanxi Provincial College Students Orienteering Championship;The number of universities offering orienteering courses in Shaanxi province is less than one third of the total number of universities in Shaanxi province,and the number of universities participating in orienteering championships is less than one quarter of the total number of universities in Shaanxi Province,indicating that orienteering is not popular among universities in Shaanxi Province.2.The orienteering courses in Shaanxi Province,universities have clear teaching objectives,diverse curriculum forms and teaching contents,rich teaching resources and perfect curriculum evaluation system.However,the research found that the depth of course teaching is slightly insufficient,and the teaching site is relatively single.3.Young and middle-aged teachers with master’s degree are the main force of orienteering teachers,but most of them have short teaching experience and lack of ways to improve their special ability;Orienteering courses have good safety awareness,and their safety management methods are scientific and abundant;Orienteering course is popular among students,and the teaching effect is obvious,which achieves the educational goal of educating students;The main factors affecting the development of orienteering courses in colleges and universities are funding,teachers and teaching resources.At the same time,the lack of orienteering teachers is the main reason that hinders universities from carrying out orienteering courses.Based on the above research results,relevant countermeasures for the development of orienteering courses in colleges and universities are given as follows:1.Improve the attention to the development of orienteering courses on campus,and increase the publicity efforts2.The government cooperates with universities to actively hold various orienteering events3.Vigorously develop directional sports field resources4.Introduce excellent orienteering teachers,increase teacher training,and improve the level of teachers5.Deepen the teaching content of directional sports courses and optimize the curriculum evaluation system...
