In July 2021,the general office of the State Council and the general office of the CPC Central Committee jointly issued the opinions on further reducing the homework burden and after-school training burden of students in the stage of compulsory education(hereinafter referred to as "double reduction").From the "double reduction" opinion,it can be seen that reducing the amount of students’ homework and reducing students’ burden has become the new main theme of education.Among them,"rationalization of assignment" is an important link in the operation reform.After-class homework is the extension and continuation of classroom teaching,but homework design is not only the continuation of classroom,but also an effective way for students to promote their own thinking development,improve their practical innovation ability,enhance their application ability and self-learning ability.As a link with the highest degree of autonomy in students’ learning process,after-school homework is not only an effective means to fully implement the "personalized" development requirements of primary school students,but also an important guarantee for cultivating students’ well-rounded development.In order to explore the real situation of parents’ burden reduction and students’ personalized development under the "double reduction" policy,this paper selects the sixth grade mathematics homework as the research case,and takes some teachers and students of Huaibei A and B schools as the research samples.The students are divided into six dimensions: "attitude and understanding,homework volume,homework difficulty,homework function,homework content and type,and homework evaluation";Teachers are divided into six dimensions: "the purpose of homework,the source of homework,the recognition of the" double reduction policy ",the way of homework,the correction of homework and the optimization of homework".They set up a questionnaire according to the different dimensions and understand the situation of mathematics after-school homework under the background of the "double reduction" policy by means of questionnaire survey and interviews.Through the analysis of the six dimensions of the survey data,it can be found that there are many problems in the current mathematics after-school homework,such as "lack of homework function,monotonous form,fuzzy level,large amount of homework,inadequate implementation of load reduction" and so on.Combined with the existing research theories and their own practical experience,meanwhile based on the "six principles",this paper puts forward targeted improvement suggestions from the aspects of "enrichment of functions,diversification of forms,division of levels,pertinence of workload,implementation of load reduction policies".According to the opinions,the optimization cases are designed from the two aspects of "operation volume" and "operation form",and the practical effect is tested.From the research results,this design can effectively improve many problems of the above mathematics after-school homework,enrich students’ after-school homework forms,effectively reduce students’ homework burden and enhance students’ interest in mathematics learning.Although there are still some unacceptable situations for a small number of students,the expected design purpose is achieved on the whole,which can provide a reasonable reference for the optimization of mathematics homework under the "double reduction" policy.
