Case Study Of Psychosocial Treatment Model To Relieve Stress Of Family Caregivers Of The Disabled

China has the country with the largest number of disabled people in the world.Researchers estimate that China’s disabled number of people will increase rapidly by 2.5 million annually after 2020.The increase of the disabled population also increases the corresponding number of family caregivers of the disabled.In the current society,due to the smaller family size and the relative lag of formal care development,most disabled people are taken care of by their family members.However,the current academic research mainly focuses on the needs and problems of the disabled people themselves,while paying less attention to the caregivers of the disabled.For families of the disabled,caregivers are not only an important members of their families,but also guarantee the quality of life of the disabled.The study found that family caregivers of disabled people widespread care stress,mainly in physical,psychological and soci-economic and social aspects.Therefore,this paper is mainly a case study of stress relief among family caregivers with disabilities.This paper selects the Psychological Treatment Model,and makes the specific intervention plan according to the situation of the owner.Through the direct treatment method of support,direct influence,exploration-description-catharsis skills,to help the owner to relieve anxiety,anxiety,irritability and other negative emotions.In indirect treatment,seek help from the owners’ relatives,establish a support network among family members to ease their physiological burden;link community and neighborhood resources to reduce the economic burden of the owners and expand their social scope.From the perspective of the effect of service intervention,the owner’s irritability,anxiety and other emotions have eased,and obtained the help of relatives,neighbors and communities,and obtained periodic rest.Finally,the research process is reflected on and summarized.The results show that using Psychosocial Treatment Model to relieve stress on family caregivers is effective.
