| With the advancement of urbanization in my country,a large number of people have flowed into cities from rural areas,and the scale of the floating population has become larger and larger,and their interiors are constantly updated,and the trend of the rejuvenation of the floating population is becoming more and more obvious.The concept of "new generation migrant workers" was first clearly put forward in the No.1 document of the Central Committee in 2010.In the same year,related research began to emphasize the phrase "new generation",and the concept of the new generation of floating population also came into being.The corresponding policy pointed out that Targeted measures should be taken to solve the problems related to the new generation of floating population.The new generation of floating population grew up under the traditional education,and their thoughts and lifestyles have undergone tremendous changes after entering the city.Social media is undoubtedly a powerful catalyst in this process.In the Internet age,the younger generation is more accustomed and keen to know and participate in society through social media.On the one hand,after the new generation of migrants enter the city,social media helps them maintain their original relationship and allow them to communicate with their family and friends.It also helps them expand their interpersonal network in the city and obtain comfort from their emotional and psychological needs,which accelerates the process of their democratization;On the other hand,the psychology of the new generation of floating population is not yet mature and stable.Under the dual influence of traditional and modern concepts,the concept of marriage and love tends to go to extremes.In recent years,incidents such as unmarried pregnancies,temporary couples,and flash marriage and divorce have occurred frequently among the new generation of floating population.This not only endangers the physical and mental health of the floating population,but may also cause social security problems in severe cases.It can be seen that studying the influence of social media on the new generation of floating population’s view of marriage and love is of great significance to increase the happiness of the new generation of floating population’s marriage and love life,and then promote the new generation of floating population’s family harmony and social stability.The research method of this paper is mainly structured interview,supplemented by observation method and network ethnography.Taking 26 new generation floating population as the main research objects,based on the theory of using satisfaction and social interaction,the concept of marriage and love is divided into the concept of love and mate selection and the concept of marriage and family,includes dimensions such as motivation for love,mate selection criteria,way of love,willingness to marry,attitude towards marriage,views on divorce and extramarital affairs,etc.Based on the five aspects of the new generation floating population’s use motivation,use behavior,use intensity,use scene and use attitude of We Chat,Kuaishou,Douyin and other social media,discuss the impact of social media usage on the new generation floating population’s views on marriage and love.The concept of marriage and love is the specific manifestation of the individual’s outlook on life,values and worldview on the issue of marriage and love.Compared with the policy system,the impact of social media on the change of the new generation of floating population’s view of marriage and love is more obvious.From a positive point of view,the use of social media has made the new generation of floating population diversified in their love styles and independent of mate selection standards,and the characteristics of diversified love styles have become increasingly prominent.Social media provides a discourse channel for the new generation of floating population,and also awakens the awareness of gender equality in marriage and love life,making the new generation of floating population pay more attention to the quality of marriage,and to deal with problems in marriage more rationally.On the negative side,due to the unbalanced ratio of men and women in the marriage and love market,there is a lack of resources of the opposite sex.The new generation of migrants who do not have advantages cast their attention on social media,and the media dependence is prominent,resulting in a decline in the offline communication ability of this group.Negative information and personality packaging on some social media will also cause the mentality of the new generation of floating population to be unbalanced,resulting in a mentality of comparison and inferiority,which will lead to negative phenomena such as fear of marriage,low willingness to marry,and open sexuality.Therefore,it is necessary for government organizations and social media platforms to work together to create a good network environment.The new generation of floating population should also improve their media literacy,view online information rationally,coordinate their living space,reduce dependence on the Internet,and establish a positive and healthy view of marriage and love. |
