Education and teaching activities should not only focus on the teaching of the basic knowledge of the subject,but also cultivating the necessary skills for learners to adapt to the society.Higher-order thinking skills is an essential ability in the 21 st century,which is the cognitive ability to solve complex problems and acquire higher-order knowledge based on low-order knowledge and skills.The course Application of Information Technology in Education aims to cultivate innovative talents who can adapt to the information age.Then what are the specific aspects of the higher-order thinking skills in the Application of Information Technology in Education course? How can teachers evaluate learners’ higher-order thinking skills after a series of teaching and practical application activities? Based on the course content of Application of Information Technology in Education and the specific characteristics of higher-order thinking skills,this research explores the specific characteristics of higher-order thinking skills of the course,constructs an evaluation index system,designs testing tools and evaluation methods,and finally forms an evaluation platform,which expands the The evaluation content of the course Application of Information Technology in Education and provides help to better cultivate and develop innovative talents in the application of information technology in education.Firstly,the connotation of higher-order thinking skills is determined on the basis of existing research,and the specific ability performance of higher-order thinking skills is analyzed: understanding,analysis,creativity,application and creativity.The course content is combined to form an evaluation index system of higher-order thinking skills of the Information Technology Education Application course with 5 first-level indicators,12 second-level indicators and 37 observation indicators.Then,referring to the design and development of the capability index system,test tools are first distributed and recovered in a small range of target groups,and the test tools are verified and revised.Then,the revised test tool was officially distributed to the target group to recover the data,and the test model was subjected to high-level confirmatory factor analysis to verify the measurement structure and measurement relationship of the test model.According to a reasonable and effective test relationship,the factor loading coefficients are used to calculate the weights of indicators at all levels.According to the characteristics of the measurement subject,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is selected to evaluate the ability.Finally,the test tools and evaluation methods are designed,integrated,and an evaluation platform is developed.The test method is changed from paper test papers to electronic online test papers.The evaluation method system automatically counts and calculates the ability level,and realizes the functions of testing,statistics,analysis,diagnosis and feedback as a whole.Students can continuously raise their self-adjust ability and improve the ability to combine information technology and education.Teachers can further add,delete,and modify assessment items,and can view student assessments to improve teaching.
