Research On Total Factor Productivity Evaluation Of Yunnan Nonferrous Metals Industry

The non-ferrous metal industry is an important basic industry for China's economic and social development and has an important impact on China's realization of a manufacturing power.The non-ferrous metal industry is a traditional industry in Yunnan,and it is also an important foundation and an important pillar industry for Yunnan to deepen its economic development.It plays an important role in Yunnan's economic development,industrial talent training,fiscal and tax revenue creation,and stability and expansion of employment.However,affected by the market,resources,environment,imbalance of supply and demand,and technological innovation,the development of China and Yunnan nonferrous metal industry has fluctuated greatly in recent years,the non-ferrous metal industry has excess capacity,and the problem of imbalance between supply and demand has become increasingly prominent.Quality development faces major challenges.TFP is an important tool for analyzing the source of economic growth,and it is also an important basis for the government to formulate long-term sustainable growth policies.By identifying the key indicators for evaluating the total factor productivity of nonferrous metals in Yunnan,constructing a model for evaluating the total factor productivity of nonferrous metals in Yunnan,measuring and analyzing the total factor productivity of nonferrous metals in Yunnan,estimating the total factor productivity of nonferrous metals in Yunnan,and helping to identify and promote the nonferrous metals The contribution level of various important factors of the growth of the metal industry to economic growth,so as to identify whether the development of the Yunnan non-ferrous metal industry is an inputtype growth or an efficiency-type growth,and determine whether the development of the Yunnan non-ferrous metal industry should be based on increasing total demand or adjusting the economic structure.Promote technological progress.Through the analysis of total factor productivity measurement,this paper conducts empirical research on the important factors affecting the transformation and upgrading of Yunnan non-ferrous metal industry and sustainable deepening development,which is helpful to judge the overall status of the development of Yunnan non-ferrous metal industry and the path for the transformation and upgrading of Yunnan non-ferrous metal industry.Selection and related policy development provide a scientific basis.The paper analyzes the development of Yunnan non-ferrous metal industry from four aspects: total industrial output value,employment and investment,enterprise development and technological progress,collects relevant data and information,and uses the DEA-Malmquist index to analyze the overall situation from the macro industry level and the micro enterprise level.Factor productivity is measured,and the total factor productivity at the industry level is compared with the average level of the total factor productivity of the industry in the country and the western and middle eastern regions.The research results show that the total factor productivity of the non-ferrous metal industry in Yunnan is less than 1,and most of the nonferrous metals the total factor productivity of metal enterprises is less than 1.The total factor productivity of the Yunnan non-ferrous metal industry is lower than the national average and the western and middle eastern regions.The main reason for this is that technological progress has inhibited it.This paper uses a dynamic panel model to conduct an empirical analysis of the influential factors of the total factor productivity of the Yunnan non-ferrous metal industry from a micro perspective.The research results show that(1)the increase in R & D investment and the improvement of labor quality have significantly promoted the improvement of Yunnan non-ferrous metal enterprises Environmental regulations have inhibited the increase in the total factor productivity of the non-ferrous metal industry.(2)The government funds and the scale of enterprises have not improved the total factor productivity of the Yunnan non-ferrous metal industry,and even had a negative impact.Profitability has helped to improve the total factor productivity.Based on the empirical results,this article proposes countermeasures to improve the total factor productivity of the non-ferrous metal industry in Yunnan from the government level and the enterprise level.Different regions and the same industry,due to different factors affecting TFP,the path of industrial upgrading and the main policies will be different.This study can provide some scientific basis and reference for the non-ferrous metal industry transformation and upgrading path selection and related policy formulation in other regions of China outside Yunnan.
