On The Formation Of Its Style From The Production Process Of Qin Yin

Seal of Qin and Han Dynasty is the origin of seal cutting studying.Compared with Han Seal,the small unearthed quantity of Qin seal result in our one-sided cognition of seal cutting studying to some extent.This thesis discusses the producing techniques of Qin seal,and meanwhile reveals how its techniques influence its style,making some enlightenment to the current seal cutting creation.The starting point of studying Qin seal is the specificity of its producing techniques.Know those techniques,people will find it totally different from what they know about the copy of Qin seal on seal stones.Most of the Qin seals are carved,and only a few of them are cast,etc.With the author's personal experience,this thesis analyzes the details of producing Qin seal,including tools,cutting and carving techniques and so on.And by comparing simulation experiment and the seal examples,this thesis tries to show original process of ancient Qin seal,in order to open a new way of understanding its the character pattern and style.
