Product semantics is an interdisciplinary application.It involves aspects such as psychology,social application,literature and art.Integrating semantics into design works can not only show the meaning expressed on the surface of the product,but also help the product generate emotions,but also express the value of human existence through the product's culture.The appearance design of heavy trucks under the guidance of product semantic methods can help companies or brands find their own design concepts and future development directions.At the same time,it provides a new perspective to discover the philosophy in design.Nowadays,the vehicle's development in Chinese markets rapidly,China has made great breakthroughs in automobile styling design.At the same time,due to the needs of social development,the use of large-scale tool vehicles-heavy trucks is increasing,but the development of styling is far behind the design of passenger cars.Heavy trucks are no longer a simple cargo transportation machine,but can reflect a certain social class and meaning of existence.Therefore,the author turned his attention to the appearance design of heavy trucks,hoping to put forward some new ideas for the appearance design of heavy trucks under the guidance of semantic methods.Take the "Jie Fang" brand tractor design as an example,apply the product semantics method "Second Understanding" to the heavy truck design process,combine the data collection method,the questionnaire method and the combined application method,etc.,in the search for semantics,image The refining and application of imagery fully reflects the user's feedback on semantic feelings and verifies the rationality and feasibility of semantic selection through specific program practice.The final design plan adopts "flag" as the semantics,and uses the external speed and spatiality of the "flag" to update the existing appearance of the heavy truck;through the internal guidance,courage,and direction attributes of the "flag" to deepen the "liberation" The corporate culture established by the brand.This practical process verified that the proper application of product semantics methods can bring certain economic benefits to the enterprise and enrich the corporate red cultural connotation.
