The joint Gap Balancing method is a kind of auxiliary medical technology which is often used in the treatment of advanced arthritis or severe joint injury surgery.The main purpose of this technology is to ensure that the joint space achieves the medical balance state in joint replacement,so as to make the joint activity characteristics of patients reach the best level after recovery.The traditional gap balance measurement method mostly uses metal gasket.Doctors can feel the friction between the gaps by adjusting the thickness of the gasket,so as to estimate the clearance balance state.In recent years,electronic gaskets have entered the medical device market.The principle is to measure the pressure between gaps by using micro sensors,and then transmit them to the receiving end through wireless communication technology to allow doctors to read the pressure between gaps.The paper combines Bluetooth 5.0 wireless communication technology and neural network technology to design an intelligent medical bone joint gap balancer,which has the characteristics of ultra-low power consumption,miniaturization and intelligence.Its working principle uses flexible pressure sensor to obtain the gap pressure,and then uses Bluetooth wireless technology to transmit the data to the host computer.The host computer analyzes the data and saves it to the patient database.The doctor needs to evaluate and record the patient's postoperative recovery state.After that,the host computer needs to use these evaluation values as training samples to train the neural network,Neural network will be applied to real-time balance state prediction.With the increase of training samples and training times,the prediction ability and accuracy of the balancer will be improved.In addition,the network is trained with the data collected by different doctors during operation,and the prediction ability will integrate the evaluation experience of multiple doctors.According to the above design principles,the final design of the intelligent medical bone joint space balancer is 54.5 * 36.6 * 10 mm,the power consumption is only 33.67 m W,it can work for 29.7 h,the effective transmission distance is 50 m,and the pressure resolution is 1.1N and the error is 2.4N.It has significant prediction ability for several typical balance states,and gives the specific balance prediction value.The paper describes the hardware and software principles and implementation process,including Bluetooth firmware development,host computer development,neural network programming.The hardware part realizes the data acquisition and transmission,and the software part realizes the patient information management,database establishment,dynamic display of pressure curve,dynamic display of predicted value and additional expansion functions.The functionality and important indicators of the whole system are tested meet the expected design requirements.In the end,the system is verified by the equal scale joint model,and 600 groups of data are tested and trained.The experimental results show that the system has significant distinguishing ability in the prediction of joint space balance state,and the specific prediction results are given.
