Design Of Wireless Water Meter Remote Meter Reading System Based On LoRa

Water resources are increasingly scarce,urban populations continue to increase,and manual meter reading is becoming more and more difficult.To meet the development needs of smart cities,most water supply companies have begun to use wireless automatic meter reading technology.This paper designs a wireless water meter remote meter reading system based on LoRa technology.This system can remotely read meters in real time,solve the problems of difficult meter reading and untimely meter reading,and further promote the development of informatization,networking and intelligence of water management.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Determine the overall plan of the meter reading system according to the analysis of requirements and the design goals,which is mainly composed of four parts: electromagnetic water meter,repeater,concentrator and master station data center,clarify the function of each part and complete the main equipment Selection work.(2)Design the hardware circuit according to the overall architecture of the system.The hardware mainly includes three parts: electromagnetic water meter,repeater and concentrator.The electromagnetic water meter is responsible for collecting water flow data,and the amplified signal is sent to the concentrator through the repeater,and the concentrator is finally uploaded to the main station data center through GPRS/4G wireless communication.(3)On the basis of hardware design,design the software part of the system according to the functional requirements of the system,and then network the system,and propose a routing protocol based on path quality,taking the number of hops,node energy and integrated link quality as the path quality Metric indicators,the quality of the path as the selection criteria for network routing.(4)Test the performance of the wireless water meter remote meter reading system,including the transmission distance and system networking functions,and simulate the routing protocol based on path quality,compare it with the routing protocol based on the minimum hop count,and verify the The system can achieve the design goals.
