Clinical Observation Of Xiaoyao Cong Er Fang In The Treatment Of Tinnitus Due To Liver Depression And Spleen Deficiency

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of the treatment of liver-depression and spleen-deficiency type of tinnitus with Prosperity Conger Formula,and to Provide more effective bases and Protocols for the traditional Chinese medicine treatment of tinnitus.Methods:Eighty patients with tinnitus of liver-depression and spleen-deficiency type who attended the ENT outpatient clinic were selected,meeting the diagnostic criteria of Chinese medicine and Western medicine,and were divided into a test group and a control group,with 40 patients in each group,following the principle of randomization and blindness.In the test group,no-decoction Chinese herbal granules were used in the free decoction Chinese herbal granules of Easy Conger Formula,and in the control group,no-decoction Chinese herbal placebo granules(consisting of 5%of the original medicine+dextrin,etc.)were used for 10 days as a course of treatment,and two courses of treatment were observed,and the tinnitus evaluation scale(TEQ)and TCM symptom-sign scores were recorded before and after treatment in both groups.Results:1.The efficacy analysis:In the experimental group,38 cases were included in the study protocol,of which 2 cases were cured,22 cases were effective,and 10 cases were effective,with a total effective rate of 89.47%;in the control group,36 cases were included in the study protocol,of which 2 cases were effective,14 cases were effective,with a total effective rate of 44.44%,with statistically significant differences between the two groups(P<0.01).2.After treatment,the TEQ scores of tinnitus in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment,and the test group was significantly better than the control group(P<0.01);after treatment,the test group was significantly better than the control group in improving the grading of tinnitus(P<0.01).3.Compared with the control group,there were statistically significant differences in the individual scores and total scores of chest distension and pain,dullness and loose stools in the test group after treatment(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusion:The formula can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of tinnitus caused by liver-depression and spleen-deficiency.Its syndrome differentiation and treatment,formulation are reasonable and curative effect is reliable,which shows the advantages and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of tinnitus and has clinical application value.
