Ha-la-sha-er region of Xinjiang, is also called Dun hong, Yan-qi,etc. It not only has a long Buddhist history and culture, but also was one of the important political, economic and cultural cities in Xinjiang because it is a town principal roads connecting the south and north Xinjiang.The subject of this Paper is Tibetan Buddhist temple of Turgut and Heshuote who live in Ha-la-sha-er region. The first part of this paper studies the history of Tibetan Buddhism which spread and develop between Turgut and Heshuote Mongolian. The second part is focus on the Tibetan Buddhist temple were built in different historical periods and different areas.The study covers a long history of Tibetan Buddhist temple in Ha-la-sha-er region which can be divided into three periods, namely before the east return, after the east return and since the liberation. The places involved in the study include the Volga River basin, Xinjiang Ha-la-sha-er region,such as Hejing, Heshuo, Yanqi,Bohu,etc. This paper includes the preface and the five chapters.The preface explains the purpose of this study and significance of topics, introduces the current situation and focus, difficulty of study in this field, and research theories and methods and shows the theory and methods of research.Chapter 1 briefly discusses the specific geographic location and organizational evolution of Ha-la-sha-er region. In the meanwhile, it also discusses the historical roots of Turgut and Heshuote Mongolian through historical data and local history?Chapter 2 mainly studies Tibetan Buddhist spread in Oirat Mongolian, including the introduction time and process, then summary and analysis the development status of Tibetan Buddhist in Ha-la-sha-er region.Chapter 3 focuses on Tibetan Buddhist temple of Turgut and Heshuote were built in different historical periods and different areas according to its greatest feature,cross-regional, divided it into three periods, including before the east return, after the east return and since the liberation. Furthermore, analyzes its characteristics, only to achieve the Tibetan Buddhist temple of the vertical and horizontal cross-type.Chapter 4 surveys Lama who has a major impact on Tibetan Buddhist developed in Ha-la-sha-er region.Chapter 5 covers thoughts and suggestions that involve the current situation, functions of temple and how to protect and develop Tibetan Buddhist temple in Ha-la-sha-er region.
