Alberto Ginastera was an outstanding Argentine composer of the 20th century.He is considered as a famous modern composer and music activist in Argentina.His works combine the Argentine national folk music language with the modern composing technology in the 20th century,and his music style has distinct personality characteristics,which has made great contributions to the inheritance of Argentine folk music and the development of musical culture.to the inheritance of Argentine folk music and the development of musical culture.He attaches great importance to absorbing nutrients from the folk music of his country and creating music works with local characteristics.This is clearly reflected in his early musical works.?Twelve American preludes?is piano piece that make extensive use of folk music materials.The rhythm of the music has a distinct style of folk music,and the melody is full of passion,creating a dynamic musical image with a strong artistic appeal.It can be seen from this that Ginastera is very fond of the national traditional culture of his country,especially the traditional folk music.The style of this work is difficult to grasp.Although the length of each work is not large,the style is completely different,the rhythm changes greatly,and the particularity of tonality makes the whole work much more difficult.In the study of this work,the author found that from the understanding of Argentine national folk music to start,with the combination of performance skills,to grasp the characteristics and characteristics of the work,it will be better to master this work.Based on the elements of folk music used by genista and the background of his creation,this paper divides the style of the twelve songs into three categories:folk dance,folk song and national characteristic tonality.It is hoped that this study can provide some inspirations for piano learning and lovers,so as to better understand the style characteristics of the suite and apply them in the future teaching.And provides reference for more domestic scholars to understand and study Argentine music.
