An Analysis Of Confucian Official Morality Thought

Confucianism,as a representative Chinese classical culture,not only effectively guided China's political practice for more than two thousand years,but also a collection of traditional Chinese ideology.Therefore,the study of Confucian official morality can not only take history as a mirror,take the gains and losses of the nationality,but also dig into the cultural resources for the present.The Confucian official morality thought mainly comes from the moral rule thought established since the Western Zhou Dynasty,and the Confucian self-cultivation thought formed in later generations.From the historical point of view,the Confucian thought of official morality is gradually becoming systematic with the development of the centralized state and the bureaucratic system of civil servants,forming the outline of official morality with the main content of "benevolence,loyalty,moderation,serving the public,diligent and careful honesty ".In the aspect of cultivation of official morality thought,the Confucian high individual moral cultivation and subjective initiative of learning formed the "determination to do,to learn to think and to do Equal emphasis,self-discipline,introspection self-litigation,the unity of knowledge and practice,official learning to help each other "cultivation of official ethics." At the same time,it also dialectically expounds the problems of "virtue and talent,righteousness and profit"which may be faced in the course of the practice of official morality.In the external cultivation of official morality,Confucianism mainly relies on the imperial examination system,official pro culture and the management method of official morality which highlights the Confucian moral spirit.This paper analyzes the contents,historical changes and cultivation methods of Confucian official morality,and reveals the universal law of traditional official morality cultivation,which is helpful to the construction of Chinese contemporary official morality culture.
