Special Interest Tourism In Southeast Asia: Emerging Research And Opportunities (Chapter 2,3) English-Chinese Translation Practice Report

Broadly defined,dark tourism refers to the tourism with historical background such as wars and disasters.For the narrow defined of dark tourism,it refers to the tourism activities to somewhere wars or disasters happened,with the aim of honor.Dark tourism is an emerging research of foreign tourism academy.The study of ideology and resource of dark tourism shows great importance in forming the basic theoretical framework and resource classification system of dark tourism.The translation of chapter two and three of book Special Tourism in Southeast Asia:Emerging Research and Opportunities helps to the development of dark tourism industry in China,and it is also supportive to students who are majored in tourism and people who are engaged in tourism-related work and research.This report,under the guidance of Skopos theory,studies case analysis from the translation of lexical level,the translation of spitting and the translation of textual level,and then summarizes the corresponding translation methods.Finally,the author shares translation experience by presenting what she has gained and what needs to be improved.
