Research On The Effect Of Xi'an Subway Murals On The Construction Of City Image

At present,public murals play an irreplaceable role in the process of improving the image of the city,and gradually become an important part of urban culture.The city subway mural is the main carrier for the city to show its image to the outside world.Using subway space to create "underground culture and art corridor" to better interpret,inherit and develop the essence of urban culture plays an important role in the construction of urban image.This paper analyzes and studies the artistic connotation of a large number of subway mural works in Xi'an in the way of empirical research.It holds that since the first subway in Xi'an was built in 2011,the subway mural has shown a visual change from a single theme to a multi theme,from freehand brushwork to realism,from intermediate color to warm color.The implied logic is:historical and cultural Xi'an-Folk rich Xi'an-modern and fashionable Xi'an.This kind of construction logic shows the gradual change of Xi'an image from "ancient cultural capital" to "modern city".According to the collected subway murals,they can be divided into two types:pure image murals and murals with text symbols.This paper mainly studies the artistic characteristics and style characteristics of these two kinds of murals,and believes that Xi'an Metro murals convey the city image of Xi'an with characteristics,culture and innovation to people through mural images with distinctive regional cultural symbols.Although Xi'an subway contains a small number of text murals,it shows the city image of Xi'an as an ancient historical and cultural capital in a more three-dimensional way through two ways of highlighting expression and expanding explanation.With the deepening of the current academic research on Xi'an Metro mural,people gradually realize that as a special art work,Metro mural is the main way to display the city image and cultural color,and give three application ways of Xi'an urban railway mural in Xi'an city image construction,and on this basis,analyze the image of Xi'an city to Xi'an At the same time,it studies the relationship between the public mural and the city image display.Finally,this paper summarizes the main problems in the construction of urban visual culture,points out that there are many problems in the process of Xi'an visual culture construction,such as high degree of homogeneity,lack of strong artistic atmosphere,etc.,analyzes the causes of the problems,and gives the corresponding improvement suggestions and views.
