The Gathering Of Danmei Fans And The Attack Of Danmei Asian Culture From The Perspective Of Post-subculture Theory

In the summer of 2018,the online drama "Zhen Hun" became popular on the Internet.The "Zhenhun Girl" and the Tanbi culture behind it also entered the public's field of vision."Tanbi" refers to the texts in which women are addicted and love to describe gay love stories.Tanbi texts include original Tanbi novels,Tanbi comics,and Tanbi movies.Tanbi was originally a subculture that survived in a "small circle"like the Tanbi fan group,but with the rapid popularization of social media and the film and the adaptation of Tanbi novels to online drama,Tanbi began to attract the attention of "outsiders".At the same time,the Tanbi sub-culture and Tanbi fan group have also been questioned a lot.The starting point of this article is to show the real Tanbi fan group's living conditions to reduce misunderstanding and prejudice.The other one is to study the cultural significance of Tanbi sub-culture from the perspective of post-subcultural theory.This article firstly conducted a more detailed study on the identification and network behavior of the Tanbi fans.Through in-depth interviews with 12 Tanbi fans and long-term participatory observations by the author,I found that Tanbi fans,compared with other fans,need to rationalize their behaviors to construct their own identity.In addition,Tanbi fans strengthened their self-identity by showing their unique sub-cultural capital.The reason why the Tanbi fans can quickly gather and grow is inseparable from the role of social media platforms.Only the Internet can push the niche fans to the public's sight.In the online virtual community,Tanbi fans strengthen the communication behavior among fans through resource sharing,thereby shaping clear boundaries and enhancing the group identity of fans.The Tanbi fan group is not an unorganized group,but a fan group with strict discipline and have clear member behavior rules.The Tanbi Fan group maintains the order and rules within the Tanbi fan group by exerting group pressure to punish people or things that undermine the group consensus,and through unspoken and unwritten rules.This article takes the online drama "Zhen Hun" as an example,analyzes the content of the Super-topic of the online drama,and selects 360 posts to classify and explain the posts.The study found that the posts in the "online drama Zhen Hun"have a strong resistance to the main culture,and the text in the post "bricolge" the meaning to deconstruct the main cultural discourse,showing the strong creativity of the fans.According to the theory of the Birmingham School,the Tanbi sub-culture has also been under pressure and incorporation from the main culture.The main culture labeled Tanbi as "obscene" through ideological incorporation,and tried to eliminate the "otherness" of Tanbi sub-culture through commercial incorporation.However,Tanbi sub-culture is not passively accepting the incorporation of the main culture,but is to rise up and try to enter the public discourse.Although the adapted online drama castrated the plot of Tanbi,Tanbi fans re-embedded the elements of Tanbi through the poaching of the text into the drama"Zhen Hun".Tanbi fans created the same humanities,produce expression packs,and make video clips.Starting from the original Tanbi texts,they give new meaning to the original texts.According to the post-subculture theory,the Tanbi sub-culture is not as judged by the Birmingham School,which believes that the subculture cannot resist the incorporation of the main culture.On the contrary,the radical style of Tanbi sub-culture affects the "micro-politics" of daily life,and from this,it also affects the direction of public discourse.
