This article is a thematic study of the anti-fascist resistance movement launched by the Dutch people against the Nazi rulers from 1940 to 1945.The content of the article is mainly divided into four chapters:The first chapter focuses on the German invasion and the rise of the Dutch anti-fascist resistance movement. Before the war,the Netherlands maintained strict neutrality, neglected defense construction, and walked cautiously among the great powers.Ignoring the international situation led to the rapid defeat of the Netherlands in the face of the German invasion in May 1940.The Netherlands had been under occupation for five years. The German occupiers eventually established a puppet government in the Netherlands. In the early stage of the resistance movement, the Dutch people took the non-violent resistance movement as the main form of struggle and took specific actions such as opposing the decrees issued by the German occupiers and publishing underground publications.Although there were sporadic sabotage operations during this period, they were small in scale and scattered, and did not have much impact on the aggressors. The second chapter introduces the development of the Dutch anti-fascist resistance movement. At this stage,a wide range of anti-nazification movements emerged in the society.Meanwhile, the main forms of sabotage, such as assassinations and attacks on the population registry, are emerging in an endless succession. In addition, many resistance groups emerged in the Netherlands. These organizations played an important role in providing humanitarian aid to the Dutch people and transmitting intelligence to the Allies. The third chapter introduces the upsurge stage of the Dutch anti-fascist resistance movement, which is also the final decisive stage of the anti-fascist resistance movement in the Netherlands. At the call of the Dutch government in exile, the Dutch resistance movement achieved the greatest degree of unity under occupation. The public became more active in assisting the Allies, and the Netherlands was eventually liberated. The chapter four is a summary of the anti-fascist resistance movement in the Netherlands. The Dutch anti-fascist resistance movement is characterized by small scale, slow development and the leadership held by the bourgeoisie, which has a certain impact on the European anti-fascist resistance movement and the post-war Dutch politics. As an integral part of the European anti-fascist resistance movement, the Dutch anti-fascist resistance movement was influenced by the world war and contributed to the victory of the World War ?.The anti-fascist resistance movement in the Netherlands is conducive to enhancing the international status of the Dutch government and promoting its active participation in international affairs.Meanwhile, the Dutch people strengthened their national cohesion in the struggle against the aggressors.
