| "Banquet",also known as "Cihe Banquet",is a large-scale banquet activity with both ritual and entertainment held on the basis of "Cihe"."Banquet" originated in the Pre-Qin Dynasty,began in the Qin and Han Dynasties,and continued in successive Dynasties,especially in the Tang Dynasty.According to incomplete statistics,at least 70 "banquets" were held in the Tang Dynasty,which exceeded any previous stage.Especially in the period of Tang Xuanzong,not only the grand "gift" ceremony was held in Chang’an,the capital,but also in other places,which became the heyday of "banquet" in the Tang Dynasty.From the relevant historical data and research results,the "banquet" music activity is not only a part of the banquet music in the Tang Dynasty,but also the extension and expansion of the court banquet music,which,as the ruler’s cultural strategy of "sharing music with the people",has strengthened the relationship between the state and the people.In the form of performance,"Banquet" music is compatible with elegant music,Hu music,folk music and other types,a collection of singing and dancing,instrumental music,Baixi and other varieties,Hu and Han mixed,vivid and colorful,considerable,the scale and influence have gone far beyond the scope of palace banquet music.Cultural space is a way of presentation of "banquet" in some specific time and space and specific perspective.In the process of ritualization of "banquet" music activity space,static space environment and dynamic sound perspective constitute a unique sound landscape,which makes different music forms communicate in the interaction of "people","sound" and "earth" space.This kind of communication impelled the palace mainstream music and its performance space to infiltrate and spread to the folk,and through the process of space symbolization,constructed the cultural identity of the group,created conditions for the dialogue between folk music and palace music and dance,accelerated the secularization of the palace etiquette space in the Tang Dynasty,and affected the development trend of music history to a certain extent.Therefore,"banquet" music activities,as a supplement and extension of court banquet music,not only enriched the banquet music culture of the Tang Dynasty,making it reach its peak during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong,but also promoted court music to a broader urban space,depicting a new and unique music cultural landscape in the way of social participation of the monarch and his subjects or the monarch and his people. |
