A Linkage Study Of "Awakening The World's Marriage"

Serial Verb Construction(SVC)is one of the grammatical structures with a long history in Chinese.As early as three thousand years ago,there was a skillful use of SVC in oracle bone inscriptions.Nowadays,SVC is still in an active state in modern Chinese.The research on SVC has always been a hot topic in the field of grammar.The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????)was written at the end of Ming Dynasty and the beginning of Qing Dynasty.It is a vernacular novel of social situation.It is of great value to the study of the development and change from modern Chinese to modern Chinese.In this paper,from the semantic and syntactic aspects,and combined with the method of diachronic comparison,the author makes a systematic study of the SVC in The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????).This article consists of six parts.The introduction part first introduces the current research status of The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????),and finds that the current research on Stories to Awaken Men(???????)is mainly focused on lexical research,and the syntactic research is slightly insufficient.Related research has not yet been found.The first chapter,it introduces the status of the SVC theory research and diachronic development research,and finds that there are few special books in the SVC diachronic research.Therefore,this article uses the method of syntactic analysis and semantic analysis,synchronic description and diachronic comparison to quantitatively study the SVC of The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????),summarizes the research results of scholars on(???????)The definition of SVC is systematically analyzed from two levels of structure and semantics,and the characteristics of the syntactic structure of the SVC and the deeper semantic connections in The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????)are examined.The second chapter is the structural analysis part.It first examines the classification of verbs in SVC in The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????),analyzes the emphasis of different types of verbs on the position of different verbs and the verbs in this period Optional features.Based on the structural and semantic characteristics,the structure types of the SVC in The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????)are divided into three types:simple,complex,and specially marked.These three types of SVC are further refined in specific analysis.The division of the simple style occupies the main position in The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????),but the other two categories show the characteristics of the linkage style in this period:the structure is more and more diverse,and the content is more and more rich.Finally,it also analyzes some special types in The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????).These forms of SVC include dynamic complement structure,trend structure,and side-by-side structure,reflecting the transitional characteristics of the SVC in development and change.The third chapter is the part of semantic analysis,which makes a multi-angle analysis on the semantic aspects of the SVC in The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????).First of all,the semantic categories and roles of articulated subjects are analyzed.Subjects are mostly composed of people's nouns,and the semantic roles represented by subjects are mainly agent subjects.Secondly,we investigate the semantic relationship between verbs,and analyze it from three perspectives:purely chronological order,temporal relationship with other additional meanings,and simultaneous time.Again,the semantic orientation of verbs and modifiers is examined.Semantic orientation reveals more complex and deeper meanings hidden between syntactic components.The directionality of verbs and modifiers in the SVC is more complex and diverse than in general sentence patterns..The fourth chapter is the diachronic comparison part.The Zu Tang Ji(?????)is selected as the corpus of the diachronic comparison of The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????),From the syntactic structure,the use of verbs,and the semantic relationship,it is found that compared with the SVC of The Zu Tang Ji(?????),the SVC of The Stories to Awaken Men(???????)has a kind of "sublation",and the SVC The conjunctions with upper conjunctions become single,the basic vocabulary has changed,but the unmarked conjunctions have further developed,and the SVC usage and combination have become more abundant.The last part is the concluding part,which summarizes the full text,discusses the characteristics of The Marriage Stories to Awaken Men(???????),and points out the confusion and shortcomings encountered in the writing of this article.
