Research On The Application Of Mode Scales In Jazz Standard Music

In the process of learning jazz,everyone has to go through the practice of the tonal scale,which is not only to understand the scale or to exercise the finger proficiency,but also to know how to apply the scale in the work.Jazz is so flexible and colorful that players can choose to use different scales on the same harmony to give the work different styles and performance.This paper organically combines theory with practice,sensibility and reason,combines the musical sentences of one's own practice,through the analysis of chord progress and form structure,studies the application of tonal scale in jazz standard music,lists and interprets the tonal scale commonly used in jazz standard music,and explores the different colors and expressions brought by the combination of tonal scale and jazz.At the same time,it also provides the direction of exploration and practice for the study of tonal scale.
