Due to the need of language economy and communication, there exists a special class of verbs in modern Chinese, most of which have a vague meaning and are used to refer to and replace various actions.According to Liu ruiming's definition:"a verb can refer to or replace many specific verbs, far beyond its own use and broad category,so its meaning is relatively floating and wandering, hazy but exist.Because of this generality and fluidity,we call them panesthetic verbs,to distinguish between general action verbs with precise, specific and fixed meanings."? Common verbs include"da","zheng","gaor","zuo","gan","nong","wei"·This paper takes the universal verbs "gao","zuo"and "gan" as the research object, and the content can be roughly divided into five parts. The first part is the preface, which is mainly written from three aspects. The first part introduces the reasons and research methods of this thesis. The second aspect is the research summary part, first reviews the domestic development course about the generic verb concept proposal, the nature definition and so on,then from the diachronic angle respectively carries on the summary to the generic verb "gao","zuo","gan" the existing research result. The third aspect focuses on the evaluation of these results, and points out the shortcomings of previous studies,as well as the research perspective of this paper and other key issues. The second part is to study the language ontology of "gao","zuo" and "gan".The study of language ontology describes the specific features of three words in detail from three aspects:grammar, semantics and pragmatics. The analysis of grammatical level is mainly to sort out the object characteristics and complement characteristics of "gao","zuo"and "gan".On the semantic level, this paper summarizes 8 meanings of "gao",9 meanings of "zuo" and 7 meanings of "gan"respectively, and analyzes the semantic relations of "gao"," zuo"and "gan" in sentences. On the pragmatic level, this paper mainly discusses the stylistic color, emotional color and linguistic value of "gao"," zuo" and "gan".The third part is based on the second part of the study of language ontology,"gao","zuo","gan "comparative study. In grammar, they belong to the same verbs, their basic grammatical features are the same, and the most important collocation is verb-object structure and middle-complement structure, can be added first after the object. From the semantic point of view,"gao","zuo","gan"have cross meaning, but also have their own unique meaning. When cross-meaning items are presented, they can sometimes be replaced with each other, such as "revolutionizing" and "doing revolution "," doing work" and "working";sometimes there are differences, such as"getting the chairman "and" doing the chairman "," making tofu "and" doing tofu ".Pragmatically, the stylistic colors of "gao","zuo" and "gan" have similarities, but because of the difference of their expression effects, they are suitable for different language environments respectively. The fourth part analyzes the errors of "gao","zuo" and "gan" from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.First of all, this paper identifies the types of errors produced by foreign students in the process of using,"gao","zuo" and "gan",and roughly sums up the types of errors, improper collocation, mixed use between words and words, writing errors and so on.Secondly, the causes of errors are briefly analyzed, including dictionary interpretation, negative transfer of mother tongue, negative transfer of target language knowledge, and learners' learning strategies. Finally, based on the analysis of the causes of errors, some practical Suggestions are put forward for the teaching of Chinese as a second language, such as paying attention to the discrimination of words, paying attention to the unity of three aspects in teaching, and paying attention to the main role of teachers and students. The last part is the conclusion of the article. The first aspect is to summarize the new insights obtained through analysis, research and arrangement. The second aspect is to reflect on the unsolved problems in this paper.
