A Comparative Study Of Chinese And Russian Time Expression

The category in Russian and Chinese is performed and expressed through vocabularymeans, lexical means, grammar means and comprehensive way. The order of words inChinese statement nearly consist with the natural flow of time, while the Russian is alanguage with developed body of verbs. This is no doubt that the Russian and Chineselearners faced greater obstacles in mastering how to express the time in Russian and Chinese.In order to master the expressing way in Russian, we must firstly analyze and study alllevels involved in the Russian time, including category, the sequential categories, category ofbody, the position of time and column category. Through the research and analysis of theseveral levels above, we express the views of speaker about the relationship between behaviorand time reference point in the semantic, lexical and syntactic, sequential relationship(previous relationships, simultaneity, following relationships), lexical and grammarstructure of restrictive behavior and restrictive behavior, and combination of the body of verbsand the time of verbs. Thus we can figure out the meaning expressing by behavior and theway of expression about time.Secondly we can figure out the meanings and the way of behavior (sustainabilitybehavior, state and complete behavior) below completely timing frame, through thedescription about phase, tense and aspect). According to description about timing system inchinese，we analyze how to choose point of timing reference (speaking time or internal timeof behavior).Through the comparative study on the structure of time category in Russian and Chinese,including the category structure, temporal structure and body structure. The similarities anddifferences between Russian and Chinese in the above a few categories, we found that theRussian and Chinese verbs on the timeline with the shape of the basic consistent, all in time isalso consistent with the form. It has positive meaning for Russian and Chinese teaching.
