The Analysis Of "Immediately Category" And "Hurriedly Category" Short Time Adverbs

The definition of short time adverbs is a refinement of the adverbs of timeresults. While the time adverbs are kinds of adverbs, the short time adverbs havethe semantic features and grammatical function of adverbs at the same time. It alsohas its own personality. As an important mean to express the concept of time inChinese, short time adverbs strengthen people’s perception of time domain. Becauseof its abstractness, the complexity of syntactic structure and usage of flexiblecomplexity, short time adverbs become the focus of Chinese academic research. Butthe existing research results are main ontology research and have to be combinedwith the practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This dissertation reviews the related research results, combines the synchronicand diachronic studies with the ontology research, and contacts research andapplication of Chinese as a foreign language. On the basis of the contrastiveanalysis and error analysis theory, the characteristics of commonly used"Immediately Category" and "Hurriedly Category" short time adverbs in thesemantic, syntactic, pragmatic aspects are summarized. Besides, this dissertationputs forward the corresponding suggestions for teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage based on the analysis of causes of errors what foreign students comeacross.The article is divided into five parts, specifically discussed as follows:Chapter One: Introduction. This part elaborates the topic origin andsignificance of the article. It also summarizes the relevant research results,including macroscopic research of time system and time adverbs as well as shorttime ontology research. Error research and teaching Chinese as a foreign languagestudy are also done. It introduces the scope of this study, research methods and datasources.The Second Chapter: The ontology research of "Immediately Category" and "Hurriedly Category" short time adverbs. This part firstly introduces the definitionand classification of short time adverbs. Then the research of "ImmediatelyCategory" and "Hurriedly Category" short time adverbs on syntactic and semanticfunction combines with the synchronic comparison and diachronic evolutionanalysis. Finally, using the theory of comparative analysis, this article states thesemantic, syntactic, pragmatic contrast of "Immediately Category" and "HurriedlyCategory" short time adverbs.The Third Chapter: The study of "Immediately Category" and "HurriedlyCategory" short time adverbs in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Thischapter uses the error analysis theory, summarizes the types of errors that foreignstudents use short time adverbs appear, analyzes the causes of error, and proposesthe corresponding teaching suggestions.The Forth Chapter: The research of the two words "眼看""急忙". This chapteralso introduces"眼看""急忙", including research on the lexical category andsyntactic, pragmatic aspects of them.Chapter Fifth: The conclusion. This chapter summarizes the research contentsof this paper, defines the value of this study, and points out the parts that should beimproved.
