A Preliminary Study On The Logic And Cognitive Structure Of The "Book Of Changes" Symbol System

The study of the thought of the Book of Changes has always been the hot topic in academic discussions,and has great influence on Chinese ideology and culture.In the past two thousand years,there have been a lot of vast and miscellaneous works studying it,covering many aspects,such as economy,politics,culture,geography,etc.Based on the unearthed and existing documents and miscellaneous,this article intends to sort out and analyze the internal relationship and structure of the image,number and word from the perspective of logic and cognition by combining previous study results done by experts and scholars.There are three chapters to discuss the problem in the whole text.The first chapter combs the evolution process from the Eight Diagrams to the yin-yang symbols in the Book of Changes,based on the archaeological historical materials.The second chapter explains the morphological structure of symbols composed by the "9and 6" symbols,the "yin-yang" symbols and the word symbols in the Book of Changes.Also,it will discus structures and relations between the three parts from the perspective of the six categories of Chinese characters and the philosophy of language.The third chapter,based on the two chapters,will discuss the core thinking structure of the Book of Changes,that is the intuitive thinking mode,which is totally different from the western logical thinking mode.
