Research On The Creative Style Of Zhang Tongdao's Children's Documentaries

Zhang Tongdao is a famous director in the field of children's documentaries in China.The creation of children's documentaries has gone through a complicated and long process.If the documentary is the creator's reflection on the society and life behind the camera,then in the children's documentary,Zhang Tongdao reflects on the mission and way under multiple identities.So far,Zhang Tongdao has created six series of children's documentaries,which have examined the growth of post-2000 children in China with diversified methods of expression and an open attitude,and have had a wide impact on the industry and society.Zhang Tongdao has always practiced the adherence to children's images,objectively recording in real life and looking for dramas in ordinary life.It can be said that he has his own personal style both in terms of ideology and creation.Creation style is the direct embodiment of the creator's taste,related to the creator's personal experience,and also related to the time and space environment of creation.This paper is based on Zhang Tongdao's multiple identity and multiple open record environment as the background,to study his children's documentary creation style.Based on the perspective of film artistic style proposed by American art historian Irving Panofsky,this study divides the research dimensions of Zhang Tongdao's children's documentary creative style into creative motif,narrative strategy and audio-visual language.Focusing on the above research dimensions and based on relevant knowledge of film and television science,narratology and aesthetics,this paper analyzes and interprets children's documentaries directed by Zhang Tongdao by means of literature analysis and case analysis.In the introduction part,the research background and significance,domestic and foreign research status,research content,methods and innovative points of this topic are analyzed and stated.The body is divided into three parts: The first part summarizes the creation environment of Zhang Tongdao's children's documentaries,and sorts out his children's documentaries.In the second part,the author firstly analyzes the creative motif of Zhang Tongdao's children's documentaries,which is reflected in his consistent and diversified presentation of the creative motif of growth and reflection.Secondly,through the analysis of Zhang Tongdao's children's documentaries' narrative perspective,narrative methods and time-space structure,this paper extracts the dual style characteristics of authenticity and drama in the narrative strategy level of Zhang Tongdao's children's documentaries.Finally through the analysis of the lens of children Zhang Tongdao documentary language Settings,image visual and auditory language characteristics,summed up the children's documentary on the expression level of realism and enjoyable blend of symbiotic style characteristics,and through the realistic and freehand brushwork in traditional Chinese ideas of external form to highlight the theme of the documentary.The third part examines Zhang Tongdao's creation style of children's documentaries from the aesthetic level,and considers the inner connection of his creation style characteristics from the diversified creation time and space.
