Based on the lecture "Interpretation of Science of Occupation" given by Professor Liu Qing,the author made a detailed record of the whole process of interpretating and analyzes the difficulties from these four aspects: pre-interpretating preparation,task process,post-interpretating reflection and problems encountered in the task process.Comparing the on-site interpretation and the revised interpretation,the author tried to find out solutions of them by learning sorting and reflection.The author focused on case studies in this interpretating task.And according to these difficulties that author encountered during this experience,such as informational redundancy,a lot of short Chinese sentences and difficult words and sentences,and the characteristics of Chinese-English consecutive interpretation,the author tried to find out the corresponding solutions of these difficulties: mainly omission,logical relationship reorganization and amplification,etc.At the same time,during the writing process of this practice report,the author repeatedly listened to the recording of the on-site interpretation and found out the shortcomings.After the analysis,collation and correction of them,the author finally reached the goal of improving the ability of Chinese-English consecutive interpretation.
