"Free Individuality": The Moral Appeal Of Marx's Philosophy

No matter at home or abroad,some scholars have always doubted the proper position of morality in Marxist Philosophy(or whether Marx has a moral philosophy),and then denied the possibility of compatibility between Marxist philosophy and morality.Therefore,to re raise the issue of the compatibility of Marxist philosophy and morality,and even the topic of "the moral appeal of Marxist Philosophy",we need to first respond to the basic theory of non morality represented by Allen wood,point out its theoretical dilemma,and then emphasize that human freedom and liberation are the consistent moral appeal of Marxist philosophy,as well as the moral appeal and moral appeal of Marxist philosophy The thought of "free personality" is the sublimation of rational care.We know that there is a clear moral demand for human liberation in Marxist philosophy,and its sublimation form is the expression of "free personality".However,the moral appeal of "free personality" is not achieved overnight.In the following,we will clarify the text and realistic basis of its emergence through the two dimensions of text traceability and historical logic.As far as the text is concerned,the process of moral appeal as "free personality" is concerned.In other words,German Ideology interprets history as the production history of "real individual" under the interaction of productive forces and production relations.The realization of "the union of free men" thus needs to rely on the existing ownership conditions formed by the development of productive forces and division of labor,on the various confrontational relations created by this development and conditions,and achieve their own success in the thoroughly revolutionary communist consciousness and the realistic world historical revolutionary activities that they jointly bred.As far as historical logic is concerned,in the period of Das Kapital and its manuscripts,Marx expounded the existence of "free personality" in which human freedom and liberation can be realized,and his transcendence over the previous "human dependence" and "human independence based on material dependence".This is the new historical logic in Marx's mature texts as the moral appeal of "free personality".In "free personality" thought.Correspondingly,we think that there are three connotations in it,namely,human activities and material living conditions as its historical premise,the "real community" as its field,and the freedom and dignity of social individuals as its living environment.The research on the moral demands of Marxist philosophy has important theoretical and practical significance.First of all,it is not only conducive to the response to the contemporary western "non moral" thought,but also has important enlightenment significance for enriching the construction of contemporary Marxist Ethics and political philosophy in China.Furthermore,on the practical level,the discussion of the problems will provide important practical significance for establishing the sense of respect for individual freedom and liberation,and the discussion of all the problems will ultimately focus on meeting the people's yearning for a better life in the context of the "new era".
