Research On Tao Yuanming's Ideal Personality Thought

Tao Yuanming was a great poet in the Eastern Jin Dynasty,as well as a master of prose and ci fu.Tao Yuanming and Qu Yuan,Li Bai and Du Fu,occupy an unshakable important position in the history of Chinese literature.His poems and articles are plain and natural and unadorned.While depicting the beautiful natural scenery and peaceful pastoral scenery,he also embodies his worship for personality and moral perfection.His personality thoughts are even more radiating.Chinese traditional ethical culture attaches great importance to people's character training and cultivation.Born in the period of social turmoil in the late Jin and early Song dynasties,Tao Yuanming could not find a solution to his depression in real life.He incorporated his lament towards reality,dissatisfaction with the official circles and exploration of the meaning of life into his works.After serving as an official for many times,Tao Yuanming realized that his spiritual destination was not in the official world,but in the mountains and rivers.His thought was influenced by metaphysical thought and Buddhist thought and gradually formed a personality thought with strong independent style characteristics.The emphasis of this paper is to analyze the moral enlightenment in Tao Yuanming's ideal personality thought.In the first chapter of this paper,the concept of personality and ideal personality are basically defined and sorted out,the ideological source of Tao Yuanming's ideal personality is analyzed one by one,and the ideal personality of Confucianism,Taoism and Buddhism is sorted out and summarized clearly and intuitionarily.The second chapter analyzes the formation process of Tao Yuanming's ideal personality thought from the background of social times and the evolution of Tao Yuanming's thought in different stages.In the third chapter,the main content of Tao Yuanming's ideal personality thought is analyzed in detail,from the four aspects of his moral ideal,political ideal,social ideal and philosophical ideal,combined with Tao Yuanming's works to analyze,specifically expound his unique ideal personality thought.The fourth chapter mainly makes an objective evaluation of Tao Yuanming's ideal personality thought,dialectically thinks over the limitation of his ideal utopia of "Peach Bflower Garden" in modern society,and analyzes the beneficial enlightenment of his ecological thought,natural thought and his lofty moral integrity to the ideological and political education of contemporary college students.
