Orphans are a special socially disadvantaged group,and their special growth environment and experience will inevitably bring some negative effects on their healthy growth.Orphan schools are an important measure of national policy poverty alleviation and relief.Although they play a very important role in helping orphans,the mental health and desire for education of orphans who receive education in this special environment need to be systematically studied.This research aims to explore the mental health status of orphan students in orphan schools and the differences in their mental health status compared with ordinary school students,and to explore scientific and effective mental health education and training programs on this basis.Intervene through group psychological counseling to improve the pertinence and effectiveness of mental health education for orphan students,thereby improving the mental health of orphan students.This research investigates the mental health status of orphan students and compares it with the mental health status of ordinary school students,understands the mental health characteristics of orphan school students,and designs and implements mindfulness theme group counseling on this basis to improve the mental health status of orphan school students Research.Using literature method,questionnaire survey method,training intervention method and other research methods,123 orphan students aged 9-12 years and 165 ordinary school students were selected as the research objects.A training intervention study was conducted on 78 orphans.Using independent sample t-test and analysis of variance for data processing,the results show:(1)From a gender perspective,there is no significant difference in the level of mental health between male and female students.(2)From the perspective of the composition of different grades,there is no significant difference in the MHT scores of the three orphans,the overall mental health status,and the physical symptoms dimensions.The scores of the fourth-grade orphans are significantly higher than those of the fifth-grade orphans,and there are no other dimensions.Significant differences.(3)In terms of multiple dimensions of mental health and overall scores,students in orphan schools are higher than those in ordinary schools.After the intervention,the total standard scores of the experimental group orphans in the post-test MHT test were significantly lower than the pre-test,while the pre-test and post-test scores of the control group without training were not significant.This study draws the following research conclusions:1.Compared with students of the same age group in ordinary schools,the mental health of students in orphan schools is generally worse,but it is not reflected in all dimensions of MHT.In terms of learning anxiety,allergic tendency,and horror tendency,the two types of students no obviously different;2.The gender difference in mental health status of 9-12 year old orphan students is not significant,and the physical symptoms of orphan students in the fourth grade are more than those of the other two grades,and the difference is significant.3.On the whole,mindfulness-themed group psychological counseling is helpful to improve the mental health of orphan school students,but it also differs due to the different dimensions of mental health,such as anxiety,terrorism,physical symptoms and other dimensional training.There was no significant change before and after.
