On thanksgiving of positive psychology is in the context of the rise of start. At the end ofthe twentieth Century, the famous psychologist Martin Seligman built a positive psychologicalscience--Positive psychology. Positive psychology demonstrates that psychology should notonly study the human weakness and problems, but also pay attention to the human virtue andstrength. Now positive psychology has been paid more and more attention.It is becoming anemerging forces. Thanksgiving as the important research field of positive qualities, is worthy offurther study. Home for Thanksgiving research is still in its initial stage, and Thanksgiving thispositive quality research mainly concentrates in the colleges and universities. So do thethanksgiving education. But the middle school students are lack of the relative study. Based onsuch a situation, the present study for junior middle school students’ Thanksgiving qualitycultivation, explore and construct a kind of easy operation, can effectively improve the theirThanksgiving quality group counseling teaching mode. It is put the junior high school students’mental health education into a new way.This study uses the posttest experimental design, using both experimental group and controlgroup. Before group counseling,the experimental group and control group were measured by thedosage form.Then the experimental group carries on the counseling intervention, while thecontrol group without intervention. After the6interventions, the experimental group and thecontrol group do the the post-test at the same time.The main conclusions of this research:1. Group psychological assistance activities can significantly improve the quality ofthanksgiving for junior middle school students. After the group interventions, the experimentalgroup scores were significantly higher than those in control group of the grateful gratitude scores,indicating that the group intervention is effective.2. After the intervention of the junior middle school students the quality of thanksgiving,their subjective well-being significantly increased.Their Thanksgiving quality improvement canimprove their subjective sense of happiness.3. After the intervention of the junior middle school students the quality of thanksgiving,their mental health is significantly improved. Their Thanksgiving quality improvement canimprove their psychological health level.
