"Yuanzhen Epitaph" Study And Creative Application

the epitaph of Yuanzhen was carved by Emperor Xiaowen after he moved the capital to Luoyang.The whole style of the epitaph is strong,slanting and straight,which led to the early style of Wei stele.Under the initial influence of the Han culture in the Southern Dynasties,it first took the form of regular script,and still retained the style of Li script,showing a cross transition style.Through the comparison with "Zhang Menglong stele" and "Yuan's epitaph" in the later period,this thesis investigates the characteristics of the pen and the characters in the epitaph of Yuan Zhen,and takes into account the above development context and the transformation process of the font.Yuan Zhen's epitaph is mainly written with square pen,supplemented by round pen.The font is vigorous and powerful,with clear edges and corners.The strokes are as natural as nature,and the posture is lively.The combination of front and back echoes and characters breaks the "horizontal and vertical" structure of Chinese characters and naturally forms the charm of the whole composition.In this thesis,Yuan Zhen epitaph as the main body of the study,will be its strokes,glyph structure,and the overall composition of these parts to carry out,and combined with our study and creation of Wei stele.The following will be divided into four chapters to explore: first,in the first chapter,we will analyze the research status of the subject and elaborate its development background,and in the second chapter,we will make a comparison between the strokes,glyphs and composition of Yuanzhen epitaph and different stele forests in the same period.The third chapter is the center and key chapter of this thesis.The author will take the epitaph of Yuanzhen as the theme to connect the daily copying and creation,and summarize the creative experience.
