In recent years,with the development of "One Belt,One Road" and the increase of overseas study programs in China,more and more people choose to come to China to learn Chinese,including a large number of foreign undergraduates,who study Chinese international education and many Chinese-related majors in China,may also engage in Chinese-related work in the future.China's national image will also be effectively disseminated through their study and living experiences in China.As an important medium of international Chinese language education,cultural textbooks in teaching Chinese as a foreign language play an important role in shaping good national images.Based on this,this paper chose the central university for nationalities foreign undergraduates using culture teaching material culture reader in China as the research object,the depth of the textbook of China national image research,explore the advantages and disadvantages of culture teaching materials in the construction of national image,to promote Chinese culture teaching materials construction of China's national image better.Based on the theory of Chinese international communication and cross-cultural communication theory as the theoretical basis,to the China national image global report of 2018 of China's national image dimensions involved in the teaching materials for national image display text analysis,combining with the analysis of the problems found,using a questionnaire survey to learners of teaching materials for national image cognition,The obtained data were analyzed by ANOVA to explore the influence of the use of the textbook on learners'understanding and construction of the image of China.Combined with the construction of the national image of the textbook mentioned in teacher interviews,suggestions on the compilation of the Reader on Chinese Culture in the display of the national image were put forward.The study found that "Chinese Culture Reader" shows the colorful Chinese culture and prosperous thoughts,and creates an inclusive,open and friendly image of Chinese culture.The main success of constructing the national image of the textbooks lies in the rich and vivid illustrations.Inclusiveness,harmony and the cultural image of the community were highlighted;The cultural image is specific and the connotation is clear.The existing problems are:too much emphasis on historical achievements,lack of contemporary image display,the proportion of ancient and modem content imbalance;It is characterized by a single shaping method,lack of interactive and communicative exercises,and no corresponding vocabulary and exercises.Image context is not clear,the content of each dimension scattered interspersed;In view of these problems,the corresponding suggestions are put forward:1.An objective and balanced approach to historical achievements;2.Adjust the arrangement of rich content;3.Expand and extend the multi-dimensional image display;4.Select the content to develop the textbook.
