Since the 20th century,the excavated documents in Northwest China have attracted extensive attention from scholars at home and abroad,and the Han slips in Northwest China and the Dunhuang Turpan documents have become the focus of academic research.The literature of the Han slips in northwest China and Dunhuang and Turpan is abundant and extensive,which has great research value.Northwest Han slips provide us with a true and reliable record to understand the politics,economy and other aspects of the northwest of the Han Dynasty,among which the discovery of medical slips made up the shortcoming of the few medical books handed down in the Han Dynasty,and provided us with precious data to study the medical situation in the Han Dynasty.Dunhuang Turpan literature volumes are numerous and inclusive,among which the Tang edition or transcriptions of medical literature have distinct characteristics of The Times.This paper will sort out and compare the medical words of the two periods from the medical literature of the Han and Tang Dynasties unearthed in the northwest of China.This paper is divided into six chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the reason for the topic selection and the significance of the research,research status,definition of the concept,research scope and research methods.The second chapter is the summary and arrangement of the Han and Tang Dynasty medical literature unearthed in Northwest China.The third chapter is the comparison of the medicinal words in the Han and Tang Dynasty medical literature unearthed in Northwest China.It mainly analyzes and summarizes the unchanged medicinal words and partially changed medicinal words.The fourth chapter is about the characteristics of the evolution of the medicinal words in the Han and Tang Dynasties unearthed in northwest China.The fifth chapter analyzes the reasons for the evolution of medical words in the Han and Tang Dynasties unearthed in Northwest China,and analyzes the reasons for the evolution of medical words by combining the characteristics of the evolution of medical words with the related records of politics,economy and medical treatment in the handed down ancient books.Chapter six is the exposition of some difficult drug words.The conclusion,innovation and deficiency of the paper and the prospect of the comparative study on the words in the unearthed medical literature in Northwest China are introduced in the conclusion.Through the comparative study of some changed medical words in the Han and Tang Dynasties,this paper finds that the medical words in the Han and Tang Dynasties have the following characteristics:(1)the monosyllabic medical words in the Tang Dynasty decreased,and the two and three syllables words increased;(2)The number of drug words in different writing and under the guise decreased;(3)The drug words are gradually stereotyped.At the same time,it is found that the internal evolution of pronunciation,writing carrier,region,political and economic policies in different periods are the reasons for the evolution of medical words.On the basis of various viewpoints and combining unearthed documents and handed down documents,this paper makes a study and interpretation of some difficult medical words in Chinese slips,such as "??(?)","??? ","??" and "??".
