Northern Song Dynasty Imperial Mausoleum Stone Carvings

This year,during a visit to Song Mausoleum in Gongyi City,the two stone tiger sculptures were found on the Shinto in front of Ming de Queen's Mausoleum in the northwest corner of Yongxi Mausoleum.Because its unique and naive style is slightly different from other simultaneous sculptures,it is associated with many interesting and playful works of modern modeling style.Looking back more than 1000 years ago,I returned to the sculptor of Song Ling and saw not only the unique aesthetic taste and preferences of the sculptor,but also the local social and cultural life.Gongyi City is the origin of ancient ceramics,there are porcelain kiln sites everywhere,but also produced good white porcelain works here is also the three colors of the Tang Dynasty The place of birth.Among them,a series of simple and honest pottery rabbits unearthed in Gongxian kiln of Tang Dynasty and the white porcelain devouring in Gongyi Museum are excellent works.Although Gongxian kiln gradually declined in Song and Jin dynasties,the inheritance and evolution of ceramic objects in stone carvings can still be seen on the stone tiger of Song Ling.It is difficult to say that the stone carvings of Song Mausoleum in Qing Dynasty were also deeply influenced by local ceramic art and culture.Today's sculpture is deeply influenced by western sculpture,and we are indifferent to the artistic modeling and style of traditional sculpture.I hope to inherit and develop the nation better by studying and understanding the traditional sculpture Sculpture art.
