The reform and opening up in 1978 prompted China to enter a new era of socialism.Political chaos and economic reforms accelerated the transformation and development of Chinese society.Affected by the wave of reform and opening up,the cultural context of Chinese society has changed.In this context,reportage once became the mainstream of the literary world by virtue of its own literary and news features.Through a rational examination of Chinese society,a distinct national image has been created,a complete and rich "Chinese story" has been constructed,the development of social culture has been promoted,and the main theme of the new era has been promoted.At the same time,it also led the Chinese society to embark on a healthy development path.The reportage content of the new era(1978-1990)has obvious characteristics and changes in the past ten years.The "Chinese story" constructed in the new era reportage has a clear demarcation point and is closely related to the process
