Ancient Chinese music and dance education plays an important role in ancient Chinese education.It complements "ritual" education and becomes the historical source of aesthetic education in China.The aesthetic education thought contained in it is a typical model of ancient education.In recent years,with the increasing emphasis on aesthetic education,various art disciplines have made brilliant achievements in their respective fields.Although dance aesthetic education has made great progress with this upsurge of aesthetic education,it still faces some problems to be solved.Therefore,this paper tries to make people re recognize the value of traditional Chinese culture by studying the aesthetic education thought in ancient Chinese music and dance education,in order to make some modest contributions to the development of contemporary Chinese dance aesthetic education.This paper adopts the methods of literature research,comparative research,the unity of history and logic,and expert interview,and obtains some theoretical results.First of all,the ancient Chinese music and dance education thought did not appear out of thin air,but had its historical gene from the origin of music and dance.Since its birth,music and dance has carried the role of imparting production and life skills and inheriting the tribal spirit.A series of music and dance education thoughts in the pre Qin period of China are essentially in the same continuous line as those in the clan society.They are all means of human education and become the initial aesthetic education thoughts in China;Secondly,the ancient Chinese music and dance education is embodied in the thought of "humanism","ritual and music","kingly way" and "Neutralization" in aesthetic education,which aims to achieve the all-round development of human beings and the role of social unity through the combination of moral education and aesthetic education and the music and dance education with the unity of situation and content;Finally,returning to the author's major,the ancient Chinese music and dance education thought reminds us that the contemporary dance aesthetic education should focus on the integrity of people,pay attention to the emotional value of art and the popularity of art,inherit the fine tradition of people-oriented in ancient Chinese music and dance education,and pay attention to students' physical and mental health,moral sentiment and personality cultivation.The music and dance education in the pre Qin period,especially in the Western Zhou Dynasty,had a complete education system.Although the later rites and music system collapsed,the spirit of Chinese culture contained in it became the spiritual food of the Chinese nation since ancient times,and formed the unique spiritual character of the Chinese nation.All these are worth inheriting and using in today's society.
