A Study Of Symbolic Language In Contemporary Fiber Art Creation

The term "symbol" is not unfamiliar to the general public.It carries mankind’s cognition of the world and is closely linked to people’s lifestyle and aesthetic taste.Although the definition of semiotics was originally a concept put forward by linguists,its structural model,the symbol itself,the organization between symbols,and the context in which the symbols appear,are also applicable to the field of art.Studying the symbols of contemporary fiber art is essentially exploring the symbolic creation methods brought by the introduction of the concept of symbols in contemporary fiber art,and analyzing the value that this method brings to the development of fiber art.Based on the philosophical principles of dualism,the article divides contemporary fiber art into two parts: perceptual knowledge and rational knowledge.The part of perceptual knowledge mainly discusses the conceptual expression of symbols and the emotional manifestation of symbols in art;rational knowledge is the analysis of elements such as form,structure,and order.The two parts need to be treated in a dialectical and unified manner.Based on a certain philosophical theory,the author summarizes the regularity of the generation of symbols in fiber artsymbols are concepts,structure is bridges,arrangement is order,and then apply this law to graduation creation,looking for personal A distinctive sign language.Of course,finding a specific symbolic language is not an easy task.If the artist’s symbolic language is too subjective,the recognition of the work of art will be greatly reduced,and the acceptance of the public will also be reduced.Therefore,the position of symbols in contemporary fiber art requires rethinking.On the other hand,in the vast contemporary art,there must be thoughts and emotions that cannot be summarized by signs,and there will also be art forms that have not been discovered.Although the conclusions of the article cannot summarize all the laws in a high degree,the conclusions of these laws are effective,and the feasibility of symbolizing the laws has been proved through practice.
