Research On Book Form Design Of Children's Picture Books

The creation of picture books for children is closely related to the psychology of children,which needs to be designed according to the conditions of children at different ages,different physiological and psychological characteristics.Children are the creators of the future,is our precious "wealth",the knowledge acquired in the growth stage of children is the most important,and picture books is not only the second teacher after parents,children's picture books can directly affect the growth of children.Therefore,no matter from the content of the story,the setting of the color tone,as well as the expression form of the visual design,a good picture book should start from the perspective of children,so as to attract children to read and complete the purpose of happy education.Based on child psychology,children's book design and other related theories,this paper analyzes the excellent works of children's picture books at home and abroad that are currently on the market,and conducts an analysis and research from visual design elements such as diversified forms of expression,graphic arrangement,use of text and color,page and space form of children's picture books.Based on the expression form of children's picture books and the reading needs of children groups as the starting point,aiming at the visual and psychological characteristics of children groups,this paper expounds the information transmission function of the form of children's picture books,and puts forward the form design principles that children's picture books should follow at present.Based on the investigation and analysis of the reading habits and reading preferences of children's readers in Dalian Children's Library,the paper studies the book forms and design principles of children's picture books,and finally applies the proposed theory of visual form design performance into the practice of picture book design.
