With the advent of the information age,the integration of information technology and education is becoming more and more close.Information technology begins to enter the classroom,which can not only enrich the classroom form,but also stimulate the interest of primary school students.In "education modernization 2035",it is also clearly pointed out that modern technology should be used to promote the reform of talent training mode.In this context,for rural primary school English teachers,which is not only related to their own professional development,but also affects the quality of basic education in China.At present,due to the long-standing gap between urban and rural areas,information lag and occlusion in rural areas,there is a gap between rural primary school English teachers' information literacy and urban teachers.This study takes primary school English teachers in S County of Eastern Hebei Province as the research object,focusing on the current situation,existing problems and improvement suggestions of rural primary school English teachers' information literacy.The whole paper adopts the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey,interview and observation.The questionnaire is based on the four dimensions of information literacy,including information awareness,information knowledge,information ability and information ethics.By using SPSS to analyze the collected questionnaires,it is found that rural primary school English teachers have certain information literacy,but the sensitivity to information is not high;they do not understand the deep knowledge;the application ability of combining information technology with practical teaching is lack;the self-discipline of information morality is low.In the teacher interviews and observation,the research divides the influencing factors into four aspects: the lack of professional knowledge reserve of rural primary school English teachers,the low utilization rate of hardware infrastructure,the lack of attention of school leaders and the lack of special training.The research puts forward the promotion strategies from three aspects:increasing the inclination of rural primary school English teachers;giving full external protection and paying attention to their own development,and actively improving their quality.
