An Applied Research On Project-based Learning In English Unit Teaching In Upper Primary Schools

Since the beginning of the 21st century,the focus of classroom teaching reform in basic education in China has shifted to the relationship between teaching and learning.At present,educators have realized that classroom teaching should be student-oriented,and advocate the implementation of "first-to-last teaching" teaching methods,so as to achieve personalized,cooperative learning of students.In the primary school section of the current compulsory English curriculum standard,the concept of "doing things in English" is emphasized,and students are required to realize the comprehensive use of language and the improvement of cultural literacy by learning English knowledge and content.PBL is called Project-based learning.In a real situation,students solve problems and generate visual results through independent learning and cooperative exploration of activities.For the language Project-based learning,it is based on the deepening and construction of the significance of the students' realization of the project theme,and requires students to complete the project tasks and present the results in the course of the activities using the target language.English unit integration teaching in primary school,which is the language overall input,interaction and output of the way to achieve the construction of the unit theme meaning,are in line with language project-based learning of core requirements.Based on this,this paper tries to integrate the project-based learning of English subjects into the overall teaching background of the senior unit of primary school,referred to as project unit teaching.Through project unit teaching design,English educators are provided with design reference and teaching new ideas.This study has five parts: literature research,status survey,theoretical teaching process construction,project unit teaching design and project unit strategy.In the document combing and research section,through the project-based learning,unit teaching design and project-based learning based on English subjects,find the theoretical basis for the combination of project-based learning and unit teaching;Build the project unit teaching process,and in the case project unit teaching design section,the actual case design is based on the theoretical process.Finally,the unit teaching strategy of primary school English project is put forward for the case.
