Under the framework of the "the Belt and Road",cooperation between China and countries along the "the Belt and Road" including Russia is increasing.However,previous research on the cooperation between China and Russia under the framework of "the Belt and Road" mainly focused on economy,trade,energy,and culture.Some Sino-Russian cooperation studies in the field of transportation also only focus on the regional levelThe original text in this translation report is a referat on "The Belt and Road Initiative-Expanding a New Platform for Russian-Chinese Transport Cooperation",which belongs to scientific style.The original referat was prepared by the expert group led by E.W.Prokofiev,director of the Economic Research Center of the Russian Institute of Strategic Studies.Currently there is no Chinese translation of this referat.Therefore,by translating the referat,we can understand the relevant situation of Russia-China cooperation in the field of transportation under the framework of the "Belt and Road" from the Russian perspective.This translation practice report briefly introduces the translation background and significance of the referat,and records the translator's pre-task preparation work,including translation tools,text reading and translation theory.Under the guidance of Skopos Theory,using translation methods such as literal translation and free translation,and using translation techniques such as transliteration,part-of-speech translation,division,and the replacement of the passive voice with a active voice,analyze typical translation examples to make the translation more fluent and expressive.It is hoped that through the translation of this report,the methods and techniques of scientific style translation will be summarized in order to provide reference and help for the translation of similar texts in the future.After finishing and summarizing the translation report,the translator draws conclusions,that firstly,before translating the text,translator must determine the style of the text,perform parallel text reading,and standardize professional vocabulary,so that the translation can be more suitable for reality and style;secondly,make good use of theory to guide practice in the translation process.And,the translator should make full use of the translation method.
