Zhang Huiyan,as a master of Confucian classics in Qianlong-Jiaqing period, the leader of Yanghu School of Literature and the originator of Changzhou School of Ci,made great contributions to the academics of Qing Dynasty.Scholars have always focused on Zhang Huiyan's Confucian classics and Ci studies, but the research on his prose creation lacks relatively perfect discussion. On the basis of previous studies, this paper takes 132 essays in Zhang Huiyan's Ming Ke Wen Bian as the research object, analyzes and discusses the ideological connotation and artistic characteristics of Zhang Huiyan's prose through the classification of different styles, and tries to show the overall style of Zhang Huiyan's prose creation,in order to make some supplements to Zhang Huiyan's prose research. The introduction part combs and summarizes the history and present situation of Zhang Huiyan's prose research, and expounds the research methods of this paper. The text is roughly divided into five chapters. The first chapter discusses Zhang Huiyan's life and prose.According to Zhang Huiyan's academic development and prose creation, his life is divided into three stages, and the relationship between Zhang Huiyan and Tongcheng School is investigated. It is believed that although Zhang Huiyan was influenced by Tongcheng,he can jump out of Tongcheng norms and belong to Yanghu School. In addition, the concept of "prose" used in this paper is defined, that is,the generalized concept of "great prose" including parallel prose and other essays.According to the style,Zhang Huiyan's prose is divided into four types: Ci Fu,preface and postscript, biography and argument.Because each type of style is different,in order to highlight its characteristics and not lose its individuality, this article discusses different styles. The second chapter is Ci Fu prose, which mainly explores its artistic style.According to the content, theme and system structure of Ci Fu,Zhang Huiyan's Ci Fu can be divided into three categories: big Fu,small Fu and regular Fu.Zhang Huiyan's "You Huangshan Fu" and "Huangshan Fu" are elegant, magnificent, detailed and canonical, which are actually the best works in Qing Dynasty. However,Zhang Huiyan's Xiaofu is highly symbolic, academic and lyrical, and has some innovations on the basis of imitating the lyrical Xiaofu in Wei and Jin Dynasties. Most of the Lv Fu written by Zhang Huiyan during his term as Jishi Shu are works of Ming Dow praising saints, with clear structure and excellent rhyme. The third chapter is preface and postscript prose, which is good at discussing studies, focusing on Zhang Huiyan's academic thoughts and political ambitions.Zhang Huiyan emphasized the value orientation of practical prose, and had the academic prayer of emphasizing Taoism and ancient times. In the preface prose,Zhang Huiyan often discusses the way to be an official with his friends. Most of these articles are highspirited and high-spirited,reflecting Zhang Huiyan's political enthusiasm and the heart to participate in national politics. The fourth chapter is biographical prose, which mainly highlights its narrative features.According to the difference of the biographer, his biography prose is divided into three parts: Wang biography, female biography and teacher and friend biography. Then, combined with Zhang Huiyan's living environment,Changzhou's mother education culture and Zhang Huiyan's friends and teachers,it is analyzed. Finally,it summarizes Zhang Huiyan's biography prose's mellow and elegant narrative art, which is good at line drawing. The fifth chapter discusses prose, focusing on analyzing Zhang Huiyan's political assumption and construction.Taking "Wen Zhi Lun" and "Li Nan" as representatives, this paper analyzes the theoretical connotation and Zhang Huiyan's political conception.Zhang Huiyan studied Yi and Li carefully, and put forward the political way of "making etiquette according to original feelings" in politics. He believed that the etiquette and music system was the foundation of national governance, and on this basis criticized Pu Xue at that time to correct the style of study in order to achieve the purpose of educating people. In the conclusion part,by summarizing and analyzing Zhang Huiyan's prose creation achievements of "taking classics as ancient prose" and his independent and meticulous academic attitude,it reveals Zhang Huiyan's prose style of understanding classics and applying them, being elegant and vigorous. Finally,Zhang Huiyan is placed in the history of prose development in Qing Dynasty, trying to show the overall style of Zhang Huiyan's prose and highlight his literary achievements and value in the field of prose.
