With the rapid development of China's economy,the cooperation between China and Nigeria has continued to deepen and has also promoted the development of Chinese teaching in Nigeria.Among them,the number of Chinese learners at Nnamdi Azikiwe University has grown rapidly.This article will take the Chinese teaching situation at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Nigeria as an example to comprehensively explain the learning characteristics of Chinese learners and the teaching status of Chinese teachers,then to sort out the problems existing in Chinese teaching in this school through questionnaire survey.The analysis provides a scientific and targeted countermeasure for Chinese language teaching in order to improve Chinese language teaching in Nigeria.This article is divided into six parts.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly introduces the purpose and significance of the topic,the methods and innovations of the survey,and a summary of the research results of Chinese teaching in Nigeria and African countries.The second chapter mainly introduces the research purpose,method and related contents of the questionnaire design.The questionnaire mainly includes the description of the survey objects,the process of issuing and recycling the questionnaire,and the explanation of the questionnaire content.The third chapter introduces in detail the general situation of Chinese development in Nigeria and the general situation of Chinese teaching in Nnamdi Azikiwe University.Among them,the content of Chinese teaching in Nnamdi Azikiwe University is specifically expounded from five perspectives: the basic information of Chinese courses,the situation of Chinese teachers and students,the use of textbooks,and assessment methods.The fourth chapter is the focus of this article.First,it introduces the current state of Chinese knowledge of students at Nnamdi Azikiwe University.It is specifically explained from the perspectives of phonetics,vocabulary and grammar.Then it investigates and explains the students,teachers,Details of teaching materials and teaching resources.The fifth chapter analyzes some problems existing in Chinese teaching in Nigeria's Nnamdi Azikiwe University from the survey.The sixth chapter starts with the problems found previously,and puts forward some concrete countermeasures for improving Chinese teaching in Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
