A Transcendental Study Of The Mode Of Human Existence In Historical Materialism

Historical materialism profoundly explains that the essence of history is the activities of people who pursue their own goals,breeds theoretical concern for the way of human existence,and reveals the way of human existence different from other things in itself.Marxist scholars connect the profound ideological premise of Marx and Engels,and further locate the basic characteristics of human existence and transcendence.Following the theoretical context of Marx and Engels and Marxist scholars,this paper makes a comprehensive research and breakthrough of difficulties on the way of human existence and its transcendence,which is roughly divided into three parts.In the first part,this paper defines the way of human existence and the connotation of its transcendence.This paper takes Marx’s "human class characteristics" as the starting point to grasp the way of human existence,inherits the three basic connotations of ontology,and deeply unifies the practical,cultural and historical way of human existence.This paper clearly points out that the transcendence of human existence means the transcendence of the reality of human existence(natural reality and social reality)in human life activities.In the second part,this paper reveals the characteristics of human existence and the characteristics of the transcendence in historical materialism.Historical materialism is a complete revelation of human existence and the way of existence,as well as the relationship between human and the world on this basis.It is full of the concentrated expression of human beings’ Transcendence of natural reality and social reality in their own life activities.According to Marx’s thinking of historical investigation,this paper reveals the way of human existence and its transcendence embedded in and throughout all aspects in the activities of “man transforming nature” and “man transforming man”.In the third part,this paper discusses the way of human existence and its transcendental realization power,manifestation and cohesion process.This paper proposes that the way of human existence and its transcendence are realized in people’s practical activities,displayed in people’s cultural activities and condensed in people’s historical activities.People create their own reality through practical activities,confirm their own existence and grasp their own way of existence and transcendence through cultural activities,and constantly condense and consciously converge their own way of existence and transcendence through historical activities.
