Research And Application Of CG Illustration Movie Poster Design

Movie posters of CG illustration are an art form derived from the development of digital technology on the basis of traditional movie posters.Its digital features make up for the shortcomings of traditional movie posters,and it is a more interesting and flexible image language.At present,domestic and foreign related researches are not systematic and perfect enough in the extraction of movie poster of CG illustration design ideas and methods.This thesis focuses on this problem.This thesis starts with the concept and development history of movie poster of CG illustration,and focuses on the characteristics and problems of movie poster of CG illustration design.The current movie posters of CG illustration design has three major characteristics:morphological diversity,image virtuality and style entertainment.At the same time,there are problems such as the tendency of abuse of traditional elements and the tendency to abstract art forms.Then this thesis proposes three major strategies for movie posters of CG illustration design-simplicity and purpose,diversified and interactive formal design strategies,nationality and globality,emotional appeal content design strategies and visual design strategies.Finally,this thesis applies these design strategies to the poster design of the micro-film "Drowning Fish",creating posters and derivatives from the aspects of shape,color,composition and symbols.This micro-film poster design application on the one hand verified the feasibility of the above theory;on the other hand,it provided a voice for underage women victims of domestic violence and school bullying,calling on the whole society to pay attention to them and take care of the protect them.
