Comprehensive courses involve Chinese characters,phonetics,vocabulary,grammar and culture,which plays an important part of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language.It requires students not only to "understand",but also to "use".The situational teaching method emphasizes situational perception,the cultivation of listening and speaking ability and the practice of sentence patterns.Teachers use real objects,pictures,videos,language,experience and other knowledge points in specific teaching situations,which can not only improve the circumstance without emotion and situation,but also help Chinese learners understand and master the points better,so as to obtain a good teaching effect.Therefore,the situational teaching method has a unique application advantage,which is worthy of our thinking and exploration.Based on the relevant theoretical basis and research summary of the situational teaching method,this article analyzes the feasibility of applying the situational teaching method to the elementary Chinese comprehensive course from three aspects.Based on the analysis of teaching content,I observe many outstanding teachers' classroom teaching of International Education College of Qingdao University,select cases from them,and analyze the implementation and application advantages of the situational teaching method in actual classrooms.In addition,I select Lesson 22 My Bike Is Red of Developing Chinese · Elementary Synthesis(?)for detailed instructional design.In the teaching practice part,the paper presents the complete application of the situational teaching method in the elementary Chinese comprehensive course.Based on this,I analyze the application of the situational teaching method in the practical classroom,reflect and summary.Finally,through classroom observation and the application of situational teaching method in teaching practice,the advantages and disadvantages are summarized,and corresponding suggestions are put forward.The article helps to promote the continuous development of the teaching and research field of elementary Chinese comprehensive courses,so that students are interested in classroom situational teaching,and improve students' enthusiasm for Chinese characters,vocabulary,grammar and culture,so as to actively use Chinese in daily life and conduct cross-cultural communication.
